Action: The total amount a player has wagered, or the act of betting itself.
Baccarat: The worst hand; also refers to the cards with a value of zero (10, K, Q, J).

Burning: The process of removing the top 3 to 6 cards after the cards are shuffled.
Caller: The staff member who deals the cards, announces the scores and offers additional cards.
Carte: French for "Hit me", used when requesting an additional card.
